Forex signal
Also called: trading signals
A trade idea with a pair, direction, entry, stop loss and take-profit levels, ideally with the reasoning behind it.
In practice
A complete signal reads like: EUR/USD buy at 1.0850, stop 1.0815, targets 1.0885 and 1.0920, with a reason. That tells you the risk (35 pips) and the reward before you enter.
Entering a signal late without checking the price. If price has already run most of the way to TP1, the risk:reward has changed.
